I bought these as math manipulatives for my 5 yr old who is starting kindergarden virtually for kindergarten. An additional feature is the geometric shape cut outs which do not limit linking ability but can be brought into play for more complex sorting/classification activities.

Includes 100 plastic connecting 2-cm cubes in 10 colors, 5 activity cards, and plastic storage box WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small parts. Count and learn with MathLink Cubes in the classroom and at home, and help young children build number sense. Mom of 6 – “We were first introduced to linking cubes 8 years ago when we purchased our first homeschool math curriculum. All of my kids have loved building with them and I’ve ended up using them more as an incentive to do schoolwork than I have used them as a math manipulative/teaching tool.

They snap easily into each other and these are more versatile than the blocks that just snap top into the bottom. Even though we have thousands of legos that my boys like to build with, these are still enticing and they always look forward to being able to play with them.
